Summary : A single orthostat, still standing in 1836, was said to have been surrounded by a circle of standing stones, subsequently destroyed. Nothing survives at the site today.

Robin Hood's Penny Stone, said to have been surrounded by a stone
circle, was broken up for building purposes. It was situated
by the road to Luddenden. (2)

No vestige of stone or circle survives. (3)
