More information : NT 818 102: Deserted Medieval Village at Fulhope. (1)
A rectangular 3-sided enclosure, collapsed stone wall, traces of rig- and-furrow and other slight features to N & S of the road.
To the N of the road the main enclosure, open to the E, 19 by 16m overall, is defined by a low bank 1.6m wide, and by a ditch 1.4m wide on the N and W sides only. In the NE corner is a rectangular platform measuring 5m by 7m. A small sub-enclosure, 5m by 7m, projects from the SW corner. The rig-and-furrow to the W is too degraded to measure. There are numerous outer low banks, hollows (?quarries), all very degraded.
To the S of the road there is a series of sub-rectangular enclosures separated by banks c.2m wide. They have no apparent entrances or internal features. There are also other mounds and banks, all low and degraded. None of these earthworks survive to a height greater than 0.3m. (2)
