Belfield Hall, possibly circa 1619, a quadrangular building the
principal front being rebuilt in 1752. Two portions are occupied
as cottages but the rest of the building is deserted and in
decay. Belfield was held in part by the Hospitallers. (2)
"Belfield Hall ... was a fortified house with a moat around it." (3)
