Summary : A round barrow situated in a prominent position on a gentle southwest slope on the top of a ridge, which falls away very steeply to the south and west. Field investigations carried out in 1957 and 1971 failed to locate the barrow due to dense forest and undergrowth.
More information : [NU 0748 0158] Tumulus [NR] (1)

As the hill has been closely planted with trees by the late Lord
Armstrong, the tumulus will be most difficult to find. (2)

The tumulus is situated upon a gentle SW slope upon the top of a
ridge, which falls away very steeply to the S and W. It is in a
prominent position at approx 620 feet above sea level. The area is
densely forested with pines and the site was not investigated. (3)
