The church of St. Michael's stood in a lane called Marcombs, or
St. Michaels. It seems to have been but a small fabric. It was at
length turned into a barn, and entirely pulled down.

In 1756 the site of it was enclosed by a Glebe Garden. (2)

As stated in Authy. 2. Site still a garden, and no further
information obtained during field investigation. (3)

St Michael's Church existed in 1340 but had gone by the mid-18th
century. (4-5)
