A well preserved, ditched bowl barrow 1m high. The present whereabouts of the urn could not be ascertained. (3) Condition unchanged, a simple round barrow. (4)
SD 8285 5012. Little Painley bowl barrow. Scheduled RSM No 23746. A circular earth and stone mound c.20m in diameter and up to 0.5m high surrounded by a ditch 2.5m wide and 0.5m deep. Flanking this ditch, particularly on the SW side, are traces of an outer bank 2.5m wide and 0.3m high. (5)
