Summary : Abbey House, formerly a farmhouse, dates from the 17th century and reuses 14th century material from St Peter's Abbey. Constructed of rubble stone with a slate roof, the house has undergone alteration and extension in the 18th and 19th centuries. In addition to the reuse of 14th century masonry, fragments of 12th century sculpture from the abbey are built in to the external fabric of the building. |

The isolated archway is of later date than the monastic buildings and gave entrance to the Strangways house. (4)
A two storey residence with attics. Constructed of stone, the building has a roof partially modern but retaining some original stone'slates'. To the north face are two original stone windows.
