More information : A mound, probably the remains of a barrow, lies on the west end of North Hill, Burton Bradstock, nearly 1 mile NW of the church. It is 52 ft. in diameter and 3 ft. high but has been much disturbed. The fairly large stones in and around the disturbance indicate the material composing the mound. (1) SY 47999069. Burton Bradstock 1. Bowl barrow on North Hill 20 paces diameter, 3ft. high. Shown on OS map, but not as a barrow. (2) SY 479906. Round barrow on North Hill. Scheduled. It measures 66 ft. diameter, 3-4 ft. high and is much disturbed, the top cratered with a trig point erected on it. However, the main structure is probably intact. There are remains of a peristalith on the south side. Visited in June 1959 when it was under grass in pasture. (3-4)
