Summary : St Anne's Chapel and Almshouses. The chapel was described as newly built in 1418. The almshouses were added in 1558. The whole was retored in 1907.
More information : St. Anne's chapel (sited at SX 9280 9329 from OS 1:500 1891) is
mentioned in 1418 as 'de novo construction'. Almshouses were added
circa 1558. Restoration work and a rebuilding of the almshouses took
place in 1907 and a porch and clock were added in 1927. The older
buildings are in Heavitree stone with slate roofs while the 1907 part
is red brick, with rendering and applied timbering and tiled roofs.
