The much ruined remains of a simple wayside chapel, dedicated to St.
Loye, the patron saint of metal workers. It is dateable by its
lancet windows to the 13th century. (2-4)

The chapel still survives, though in very poor condition. The floor
space is being used for a potato patch. See photograph. (5)
