Summary : Parish Church, formerly dependency of Buckfast Abbey. 14th and 15th century. Coursed slate-stone, granite dressings, slate roof. West tower, nave, continuous to chancel, north transept, south aisle and chantry chapel taken through to east wall of chancel, 2-storey porch west and of south aisle. Possible 12th century font.

11/1 B Church of St. Mary

Probably of C.13 origin and cruciform plan. Refashioned and
enlarged in late mediaeval period when the S.aisle absorbed the
transept on this side. Granite arcade with monolithic columns.
Screen base late mediaeval but much patched. Font has C.12
bowl but the rest is modern. Plastered wagon roofs which are
largely renewed.Two storeyed porch. (2)

Church of St Mary. Formerly a dependence of Bucjfast Abbey. C14th and C15th. The font has a square bowl with some arcading, possibly C12th. Grade II*. (5,6)
