MONUMENT NO. 439561

DESCRIPTION + /

A series or parallel reaves running in a general north-west-south east direction, covering much of Wigford Down. They in no way accommodate themselves to the physical features of the ground they cover. In some cases the reaves have been adapted and used by Medieval cultivators, but they are thought to be of pre-10th century in date.
