No. 9 (The Rectory), Fore Street (South Side), is an early 18th
century two storeyed building of rubble with a cemented front,
and a steep pitched slate roof with gabled ends. There is a late
19th century rear wing with a stone mullion bay window. (2)

The Rectory contains stones from the ruins of Plympton Priory. It was much altered in 1600, although most of the present building dates from the 18th century. (3)
