Summary : Fragments of Roman Pottery, tiles and bricks were found near Restormel Castle.
More information : Roman potsherds inscribed CAMILLO and MENILVAE are
said to have been found at Restormel Castle (SX 1061). If these
pieces were Samian, they must have been misread. (1)

Fragments of Roman bricks, tiles and pottery from the neighbourhood Restormel Castle were presented to Truro Museum in 1850.

(These finds may have come from the settlement south of Restormel
Castle, SX 16SW 33). (2)
