(1) A wheel cross head with a fleur-de-lis design and a short piece of shaft, was moved from the farmyard wall of Penwine farm to its present position in the garden (SX 0662 7357) about 1956. It is thought to belong to the cross base at Longstone crossroads, SX 06057338. Width of head 1' 9"; width of shaft 1'1"; height of head and shaft 2' 6". (2-4) The cross head has been placed on a modern rough hewn shaft set into a Medieval moorstone slab base at SX 06077337. The base was formerly in a hedge 20.0m to the NW (SX 07 SE 25). Positioned on OS 25". (5)
