Farmhouse with rear courtyard wall and Gatehouse. The House is C16 date and incorporates parts of an older house. It was built by the Hill family and remodelled in the 17th,18th and 19th centuries. It is slightly irregular, `U' shaped in plan with the rear wings 16th and 17th century service wings probably on the site of earlier wings. The gatehouse is also of a 16th century date, its rectangular in plan flanked by high walls.
The stables adjoining the farmhouse are late C7th century in date. (3) |
