More information : [Centred SD 53051719] BRADLEY HALL MOAT [G.T.] (1) Bradley Hall was sold to Adam Rigby [died 1627]. Practically nothing remains except a portion of the moat which is water-filled. (2) The brick walls of the farmhouse are covered with cement and all features are modern. The moat is well preserved on the SE and NE sides, and less so on the NW side. It varies in width from 10.0 to 15.0m. and the depth decreases from approx. 2.0m. at the E. corner to 1.5m. at the S. corner, and 1.0m. at the west end. It is everywhere marshy but not water-filled. There are no traces of the moat at the south corner. The tenant confirmed as correct the name shewn by authy. 1. (3) A 25" survey has been made. (4)
