Summary : The site of a cross was at the intersection of roads, about one and three quarter miles south-east from Croston Church, and one mile south-west from Eccleston Church The pedestal had been moved from one corner of the road to the other.

The cross has been broken off short in the socket ......" (3) Cross [G.T.] (Site of) (4) [Information identical with authority 3] (5) No trace of this cross remains. Local enquiries revealed no knowledge of its existence. (6)
