MONUMENT NO. 417590

DESCRIPTION + /

Excavations uncovered a Roman iron working site. A building - possibly a latrine - and stamped tiles of the Classis Britannica were also found possibly indicating a possible military connection for the site. Pottery dates the site to the late 1st and early 2nd century.
