GLASSON DOCK

A rare example of a late 18th-early 19th century commercial dockyard surviving as a structure. The scheduled area includes the East pier of 1785, the Harbourmaster's Office and Pier Head of 1789, the Wet Dock and Graving Dock of 1800, and the lock and entrance to the canal basin of 1824.
