LONDON CLERKENWELL PRIORY

Augustinian nunnery and priory which has also been described as Benedictine. It was founded circa 1144 and dissolved in 1539. Excavations have located the kitchen, the infirmary, a possible guest house, tenements within the precinct, and three kilns.
