Hollow post windmill built in 1817. The lower part was faced in brick and converted into cottages in 1860. In 1893 the post was removed and the mill converted into a smock mill. Two restorations of the mill have taken place, in 1957 and 1976. It now houses a museum. Baden-Powell was staying in one of the cottages in 1907 when he started writing "Scouting for Boys". (5-11)
