WARWICK CASTLE

Kingston Castle, supposedly associated with the Saxon palace [TQ 16 NE 13], was captured by Henry III in 1264. Subsequently, it is said to have belonged to the Nevills, Earls of Warwick in the 15th century. It possibly stood near the corner of Heathen [Eden?] Street.
