Fulmer Place, an 18th century house now converted to flats and not outstanding. There is no trace or local knowledge of an earlier house.Of the four embayed fishponds in the stream valley N of the house, the lower one is waterfilled being an ornamental garden feature, the next is overlaid by the embankment of the M40, and the upper two ponds are breached and now marshy. The situation of the fishponds within the old parkland of Fulmer Place suggest that they are comtemporary with the present house.
