Abbey Mill, Campsey Ash, is a late 15th/early 16th century, two storey, half timbered with plaster filling building. This building probably contains earlier structures contemporary with the abbey (See TM 35 SW 1). The mill end of the building is weather board and still in working order. (2)
The Mill and Mill House. Watermill and attached mill house, late 15th - early 16th century. Much remodelled and restored in the 19th century. The house is of five bays and is timber-framed, the mill is also timber-framed and jettied. Machinery is complete, there is an undershot wooden water-wheel. Grade 2*. (3) |
