DESCRIPTION + /

Inhumation cemetery, certainly Mediaeval, and possibly Saxon. Roman, Saxon and Mediaeval pottery were found during excavations in 1958, but, apart from a single inhumation which had a Roman coin in the skull, only the Mediaeval pottery was found directly associated with the inhumations.
