Summary : Possible site of a Roman villa indicated by finds of roof tile, painted wall plaster and pottery.
More information : (TL 994203) A possible Roman Villa site on the south bank of Roman River at Park Farm, Berechurch, where large quantities of occupation material, including roof tiles and painted wall plaster, have been found. The pottery is mainly 1st and 2nd century but includes 3rd and 4th century material. (1) Nothing visible on available air photographs. (2)
