Summary : Bronze Age beaker.
More information : A Bronze Age, Abercromby type A, beaker was found
in 1930 during the laying of a gas main under the west footpath
of Flagstaff Road, about 100 yards south of St. John's Green,
Colchester (TL 99642468). No other remains were found it was
presented to Colchester Museum, no. 85.30, by the Sectretary of
State for War. It is classified as SZ (E) by Authority 2. (1-2)
