More information : TL 553134. The remains of an earlier settlement are associated with a remarkably well preserved Tudor manor complex (TL 51 SE 2). To the north is a mill pond and a series of leets serving a mill site now covered by trees. East of the hall is a continuation of the moat and in a paddock low earthworks of possible earlier house-platforms. South of the Tudor gateway (TL 51 SE 2) are further DMV remains and two probable fish-ponds. The whole area is scheduled except for the buildings recorded as Colville Hall (TL 51 SE 2). (1)
