CAMBRIDGE FRIARY OF FRIARS OF THE SACK

Friary founded by the Friars of The Sack in 1258 in the house of John le Rus, the then mayor of Cambridge, situated where the Fitzwilliam Museum now stands. The friary was abandoned in 1307, when it passed to Peterhouse.
