WEIRWOOD

DESCRIPTION + /

A deserted medieval farmstead called Weirwood is visible on aerial photographs and at ground level at this location as a series of earthworks, representing ruined buildings and associated field systems. The form and structure of the earthworks suggest that the farmstead was settled in the medieval period, and was still inhabited in the 19th Century.
