More information : Normansburgh Priory or Norman's Burrow Priory was situated at South Raynham (TF 8924). It was founded circa 1160 for Austin Canons and was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and St John the Evangelist. In circa 1200 it became a cell of the Cluniac Priory of Castle Acre and was dissolved in 1351-74.Nothing above the foundations now remains. (1-3)
