Summary : An additional block of Roman buildings, east of the villa previously excavated (TG 71 NW 8), was identified from surface finds of tiles, mortared flints and pottery.

Additional block of Roman buildings, east of villa previously excavated (TG 71 NW 8), identified from surface finds of tiles, mortared flints and pottery (Norwich Castle Museum). (1) The indicated sited lies some 200.0m north west of the proven villa on level ground. Perambulation revealed in the sandy soil a very slight scatter of debris (less than one item per square metre) but no real evidence of a building. Nothing is visible on OS air photographs (a) and according to the farmer, no foundations have ever been ploughed up in this area. (2)
