Summary : Roman pitcher and coin.
More information : Finds from Wainfleet include:
A Roman pitcher found "about 30 years ago" [i.e. c.1800], when
a cellar was dug at the Angel Hotel, which stands on the west
side of the High Street near the Market Place.
A coin, supposedly Claudian found in a garden at Wainfleet
about 1820. (1)

The Angel Hotel is situated at TF 49785890. Present location of
finds not known. (2)
