Summary : Early 15th century, 1848 chancel rebuilt. Ashlar, square ironstone and limestone rubble, lead roofs behind parapets. Western tower, nave with clerestory, aisles, chancel, south porch, north chapel. 14th century churchyard cross.
More information : [TF 35989881] St. Mary's Church [TU]. (1) St. Mary's Church, Marsh Chapel, was built probably about 1420 and restored in 1847-81. In the churchyard is the base of a cross, with a repaired shaft. (2-5) The Church is in normal use. The massive cross base at TF 35979879 has an incomplete shaft with the top portion detached and resting on the base. See G.P. AO/63/18/4. (6)
