Summary : Parish church, now vested in the Redundant Churches fund. Early 12th - 15th centuries, restored 1880 and 1891. Squared greenstone coursed rubble with limestone ashlar dressings, red brick patching and gables, slate roofs, timber boarded belfry. Nave, with bellcote turret, chancel, south porch, north aisle. The tympanum over the south door of the nave has several features of Saxo-Norman date.

St Benedict's Haltham has Norman to Perpendicular features. In the churchyard is the base and 31 1/2 in. of the shaft of the cross. (2-3)

The church is in normal use. The churchyard cross is situated at TF 24601 63827. See GP AO/64/66/1. (4)

The tympanum reset in a 12th century arch over the south nave doorway is apparently of Saxo-Norman date. (5)
