More information : TF 279689. Roman grey and samian wares were reported from Bell's Farm by Miss P Wheatley. (1)

Mr A H Bell said this was a chance discovery found about one foot
below plough depth, and amounted to about two bucketsful. Nothing
else was seen. (2)

Washed silver denarius of Caracalla (207 AD). (3)
