Summary : Torpel Park - dating from 1169
More information : Torpel. A deer park dating from 1169 enclosed 60 acres in 1408 and was disparked by 1554. (1)

No evidence of the park was seen during perambulation. (2)

The limits of the deer park may be deduced from field boundaries
on a map of 1799 in Northants Record Office, and from placenames.
There is, however, no trace of a boundary bank. (3)
