Caistor Canal, made under an Act of 1793 and closed in 1855. It is 4 miles long, with 6 locks, commencing on the New River Ancholme Navigation near Creampole in Kelsey Carrs, and ends at Moortown, 3 1/2 miles west of Caistor. Disused.
