Summary : Surface finds of Iron Age and Romano-British potsherds and building debris have been suggested to represent the possible site of a Roman villa. The potsherds were seen by Lincoln Museum but retained by the finder.

Reported in 1959 by R. Plowright. (1-2)

Mr. Plowright indicated the area of finds, along the top of a
throwout bank and pottery scatter extending into the plough,
centred TF 0935 2110.

Sherds were classified by Lincoln Museum but retained by the
finder. (3)
