More information : [TF 062110] 2 The lost hamlet of Banthorp, which is mentioned in the time of the Domesday Survey and in the tax list of 1334, is represented by Banthorpe Lodge, TF 061110, and Banthorpe Wood, TF 069118. (1-2) There are no surface indications of the hamlet. (3) An examination of all available air photographs revealed no evidence of the Medieval settlement described by authority 1-2. (4)
