MONUMENT NO. 34706

DESCRIPTION + /

A pair of Bronze Age round barrows are visible to the north-east of Rowley Down, Parracombe measuring 24.7m by 0.5m high and 15.6m by 0.6, high. The larger of the two lies beneath the junction of three hedgebanks and as such is difficult to discern. It has been disturbed by the construction of the banks. The second barrow appears to be better preserved, although it too has likely been reduced by agricultural activity.
