LEE ABBEY

Lee Abbey is a farmhouse no older than 1850 which lies on the site of a 17th century manor house. In 1921, on the death of the owner the building became a hotel, followed by a boys preparatory school and in 1946 became a Christian conference and residential centre. It is believed to have been converted back to a farmhouse.
