Summary : Chapel in Thame Park, situated 150 metres northwest of the house. It was in use from the 17th century as a private chapel to Thame Park and was extensively remodelled in 1836 by Harris and Abraham. It has a west front entrance, with a bellcote above. There is a reused 14th century window which may have come from Thame Abbey (SP70SW2), but it is uncertain whether the chapel was extant as such in the Mediaeval period. |
