Summary : The well is covered by a large buried slab in the roadside verge.
More information : St Loys or St Lewis's well at Weedon Lois (SP6046) had lain neglected for a long time so that it was almost covered over with filth. It was recently cleansed and opened, and the ancient cistern and pavement discovered. (1) Now deserted (2) The Holy Well of St Loys is in Church Close on the south side of the church. (3) The vicar, the Rev E Lewis, said that the well is covered by a large buried slab in the road verge, and indicated its exact site at SP60144693. (4)
