Summary : A Roman cremation cemetery is said to have been found when the Silverstone Brook was straightened about 1870-80. The cemetery is located outside the town of Lactodorum.
More information : SP 69244836 (probable location). A Roman 'urnfield' was reported as
having been found when the Silverstone Brook was straightened, about
1870-1880. Presumably indicates a cemetery outside the defended area
of the town. (1)
