Summary : Roman burials were found when a bowling green was levelled in 1919 suggesting the site of a possible Roman cemetery for the Roman town of Lactodorum (SP 64 NE 1).
More information : SP 68914876. Skeletons were found when a bowling green was levelled
in 1919, presumably indicative of a cemetery outside the defended
area of Lactodorum Roman town. (1)
