The S.W. front in original state with battlemented parapet and crowstepped gable end at S.W. corner, the battlements and crowsteps capped with moulded stone.
A 5 light attic casement in gable, two 2-light and one 3-light casement on 1st floor, and three 2-light casements on ground floor. All casements moulded stone mullioned frames with four centred arched heads, cut spandrels, and drip moulds. All lights leaded.
The return facade of this front, to N.W., has a brick chimney, corbelled out in centre of (e gable at attic floor level with octagonal brick shaft on moulded base. The corbel is of moulded stone and the projection has stone quoins to match those of the main facade. The S.E. front has similar brickwork finished at eaves level with a deep coved C.18 cornice, and nearly all the windows altered to C.18 type sashes, with a modern angular bay the whole height to R.H., and 4 other bays. The 2nd bay from L.H. has small stone mullioned casements restored. Modern dormers in the roof. The R.H. end of this block has lost two original bays, only the ground floor wall remains. The N.W. front has a four centred arched stone doorway with ledged door flanked by large C.18 type sashes to L.H. and by C.15-C.16 stone mullioned casements to R.H. A modern two storey, stone, projecting extension to L.H. Interior may be of interest. (2)
