COLD ASTON LONG BARROW

DESCRIPTION + /

The remains of a Neolithic long barrow visible as an earthwork on a rise in ploughed land. Roman coins are alleged to have been found within it. A spread bank extends for up to 106m to the mound's south-east and is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs, suggesting that the long barrow may have been significantly longer.
