Earthworks representing desertion cented at SK 25003717 surveyed
at 1/2500. (2)

Okleston mentioned as 'Oslavestune' in Domesday with twelve
villeins and four bordars, was held by Henry de Ferieres. (3).
Other reference dates include 1226, 1328 and 1535. (4).
